Questions about joining the list?

Will I be spammed?

  • Developing educational content takes time, which doesn’t leave much for writing and sending out emails!
  • That means updates will be occasional and to the point – your inbox won’t be flooded with spam.
  • You’ll only be emailed when there’s something genuinely new to tell you or with occasional newsletter summaries of updated content.
  • You’re unlikely to be emailed more than once a month.
  • Most importantly: List data is never ever shared, sold, rented or otherwise provided to any 3rd parties!

What if I don’t like what you send?

  • First of all, it’s much better for both of us if you do, so feedback is always welcome!
  • You can remove yourself from the mailing list at any time, by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email we send. (You won’t need to contact Grey Cells Energy to do this).

Do I need to provide other information about myself?

  • You’ll have the optional opportunity to provide us with more information about yourself and your preferences.
  • You can do this by clicking “manage profile” or “update preferences” : an option you’ll see as a link at the bottom of any email.
  • However there’s no requirement to provide anything other than your email, so it’s entirely up to you what additional information you do or don’t provide.
  • Any additional information collected is simply used:
    • to try to avoid sending emails which aren’t relevant (e.g. ones which are location or topic specific) and instead highlight those which are, and…
    • to give a better understanding of subscriber preferences, to help guide future content editorial.
